Please note changes to Keynote Guest Speaker
Due to unexpected circumstances within Andy Kirk’s extended family, he has regrettably had to withdraw from attending the conference in order to be with his family. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
However, we are excited to now bring two Keynote Guest Speakers to IgniteNQ.
Shane Brigg
Shane is a “Mobilizer” who has been involved in Youth and Children’s ministry for over 23 years, ministering in several areas across Australia and Internationally. An Assemblies of God minister (ACC) Shane is on team at Coolum Christian Family Church and is the Queensland and Northern Territory Director of Adventure Plus Australia.
Specific ministry experiences have included: directing Youth Alive regional events; Camps; and pioneering several innovative youth programs- especially with troubled youth. Shane has also been a School Chaplain in several Primary and High Schools.
From the year 2000, for 8 years, Shane and his family were very involved in the life of young people in the Riverland region of South Australia, establishing Riverland Youth Ministries, H2O Youth, and Teen Challenge. Projects such as a Double Decker Bus Mobile Youth Centre, an Adventure tools Kit Trailer, Adventure-based Intervention Camps for Indigenous Teenagers and Youth Leadership Training, continue to engage the Community, churches and youth in creating life-changing solutions. Shane’s involvement in the Riverland included 5 years as Senior Pastor of Family Life Centre (ACC).
The cross cultural aspect to Shane’s ministry has included serving in several Indigenous communities and leading many short term teams locally and internationally particularly to Thailand. Shane has a vision to see thousands of young people released to serve effectively as long term missionaries to the unreached.
